The reformer is a bedlike frame with a flat platform, which rolls back and forth on wheels within the frame. The platform or "carriage" is attached to one end of the reformer by a set of springs. There are also shoulder blocks, headrest, long straps with handles, and a footbar attached to the reformer. Body weight and resistance of the springs are what makes the carriage more or less difficult to move. Reformer parts are adjusted for differing body sizes and levels of skill.

She received her Bachelors of Science from Delta State and Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Ole Miss. Most of her career has been spent managing a rehabilitation department of PTs, OTs, & STs in a nursing and rehabilitation center. She enjoy helping others in all aspects of life. A year ago, she opened a floral business, Josephine’s Florals. She like to stay busy and active. When she is not working and caring for her family, she enjoys time tending to her yard in the spring/summer, reading and doing Pilates. She is married to Wade Evans and she has three children; Elle-8, Jane-Cole-3, & Mac-2. She recently started a new journey at Elevate focusing on administrative duties and teaching reformer Pilates.

Robin Smith is a registered physical therapist with certification in therapeutic dry needling. Robin received her bachelor’s of science degree in physical therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1999. With over 23 years of experience, Robin has worked in all practice settings with the majority of her work spent in outpatient rehabilitation services. She enjoys all aspects of providing treatment and personalized care to patients that need physical therapy intervention. While on staff at Elevate, Robin will focus on administrative responsibilities and patient care. Robin is married to Matt Smith, and they have three children, Matthew Ryan, Millie, and Ben Roberts. They are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Robin enjoys baking, reading, and exercising when she has free time outside of caring for her family.

Madeline is an AFPA certified Pilates instructor and CPA for Elevate Physical Therapy & Wellness. She attended the University of Mississippi where she received her undergraduate degree as well as her masters in Accounting. Madeline moved to Greenwood after marrying her husband, Tyler, in 2019. She has always been passionate about wellness and began teaching Pilates in 2020. Madeline is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. She also serves as the treasurer of the Junior Auxiliary of Greenwood. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and her two dogs, visiting Oxford for football games, and teaching group fitness classes.

Sloane is a staff physical therapist and co-owner of Elevate Physical Therapy & Wellness. She received a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi in 2006 and then received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2009. She has worked for 13 years in outpatient physical therapy. She enjoys providing service to patients with all types of orthopedic conditions, but has a passion for post surgical rehabilitation, including joint replacements, fractures, and post mastectomy care. She is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity and has served on various boards and committees through both her church and her community. Sloane is married to Josh Fair and they have two children, Ryals and Jack Porter. She enjoys spending time with family, running, and attending her children’s extracurricular activities. Katie is a staff physical therapist, pilates instructor, and co-owner of Elevate Physical Therapy & Wellness. She received a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi in 2009 and then received a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012. Katie brings 10 years of physical therapy experience to the Elevate team. She is certified in dry needling as well as APPI mat pilates for rehabilitation professionals. Her professional interests include Women’s Health, pelvic floor therapy, low back pain treatment, and orthopedic injuries. Katie is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. In addition, she serves as president for the Nativity Day School board of directors. Katie is married to Daniel and they have 2 children, Daniel & Maree. Amanda is a staff physical therapist of Elevate Physical Therapy and Wellness. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi in 2000 and then went on to complete her Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2003. For over 19 years, Amanda has filled physical therapy positions in various settings ranging from outpatient therapy and home health to inpatient and rehabilitation facilities in both full time and part time capacities. Her professional interests include orthopedic rehab, fall prevention programs, stroke recovery, and geriatric conditioning and wellness. Amanda is a member of North Greenwood Baptist Church where she teaches the junior high girls Sunday School Class and participates in the adult choir and praise team. Her hobbies include running, attempting to play golf, painting, and watching her kids play sports. Amanda is married to Mark Harris. They have two children, Lola and Caleb.
